I Was A Child

Work done:

Animation, Rigging, Integration, FX, Lighting.

 

 

Project realised within a student exchange between the ENJMIn and the UQAC. In this project, I builted the rigg using 3ds max Biped with extra cutom bones. I made all the animation for the 3D character and the camera motion during the cinematic shots.

 

Most of the animation were realised in key frame except for the one with the male protoganist shooting a young soldier wich was made after cleaning mocap.

 

I also created my own state machine using Unreal visual programtation.

 

Althoug quite simpler than "Don't feed the bear" due to the lack of IK chain system, the characters still needed to have animations blend by bones for things like the calling animation and the pain animation. I was also able to had some blending weight using float curves updated with the animation ticks.

 

I also did all the VFX and worked on the ambiance with the tool in unreal engine 4. I also made the modelisation for gameplay element has well has some used for the FX.
